Our own Molly Conn stopped by the Earl’s Court site today! Construction on the first four lots is continuing to move along. We’re excited!
Earl’s Court is a new development in the popular Old Village area of Mt. Pleasant. The development (about to break ground) will feature cottage-style homes with comfortable, functional space. These custom homes will vary in size from 1,000 square feet up to 1,700 square feet and no two homes will be identical. This video represents a floor plan that was built in I’On which will also be built in Earl’s Court.
If you’ve driven by the Earl’s Court site this week, you’ve noticed some changes! We’re in the process of forming up the foundations for the first three lots. Check out some pictures below and we’ll continue to update the blog as construction progresses!
This is the most recent site map depicting the home sites. Breaking ground any day now on first four homes. New house plans coming soon. Thanks for everyone’s patience!
Today, I’on is one of the most beautiful and unique planned communities in our area. Planned with the intent of recreating the functionality of older traditional, Vince Graham and the I’on Group, set out to re-write the rules on neighborhood design, and in doing so, created a gem in the heart of Mt. Pleasant.
Tree-lined streets, inviting porches, community green spaces, and back alleys ~ these features work to create a stronger community feel, reminiscent of the historic neighborhoods of downtown Charleston.
Watch it from the ground up and see the foresight that went into I’on…
Ready to move yet? Check out these GORGEOUS I’on homes.
We have the Permit to Operate in hand which is GREAT news. Waiting on tax map numbers and then we can begin BUILDING Phase I, the first 4 homes. Everyone is eagerly awaiting this initial GROUND BREAKING on the first homes, so stay tuned for more updates soon.
Exciting times ahead for a new street in the Old Village!
Running through the heart of Mt. Pleasant, Shem Creek is a unique waterfront community that has characterized the town’s active lifestyle
With the temperatures slowly starting to warm up in Charleston, its a great time to explore Shem Creek! Located adjacent to the Old Village (and walking distance from Earl’s Court), it is one of Mount Pleasant’s most popular spots for waterfront dining, fishing and kayaking. “New York’s ability to adapt with changing times is what made us the world’s greatest city – and it’s going to be what keeps us strong in the 21st Century.” – New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg
In an answer to New York City’s housing shortage, the City has named the winning design for fifty-five 400 square foot micro apartments which will be built in mid-town Manhattan. The new apartment design will be part of a new exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York. While we previously mentioned that smallest of homes in Earl’s Court will be at least double the size of these apartments, it is still interesting to see how the trend in smaller living is really taking on throughout the country!
