One of the great things about living in the Old Village is that it is close to everything—including the laid-back and friendly Shem Creek area. Located right off of Coleman Boulevard, Shem Creek is just a few minute’s walk from the new homes at Earl’s Court. This unique area of Mount Pleasant offers ample dockside dining venues, unique shops and waterfront access. Diners can delight in freshly caught seafood at one of the creek’s many restaurants or take in the sites of shrimp boats unloading their haul for the day, curious dolphins and other nautical creatures.
For boaters and those who love being on the water, Shem Creek also provides public access for kayakers, jet skiers and small watercraft. Once on the water, you are just minutes from the Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River! The Town of Mount Pleasant also just recently completed Shem Creek Public Park which features public parking, restrooms, a 10’ wide boardwalk leading to a harbor viewing station, and a day dock with temporary moorage for recreational boaters.
Shem Creek is just one of the many highlights of the Old Village that you can enjoy from Earl’s Court!
